Pool Builders Serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area
Direct Answer: Land-Con Pools designs and builds custom concrete, fiberglass, and vinyl liner pools across Toronto and the GTA, including Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Brampton, Woodbridge, North York, Aurora, and Newmarket. Our in-house team manages every project directly — design, construction, permits, and landscaping — regardless of which city you’re in.
Every city and neighbourhood we build in has its own mix of lot sizes, soil conditions, and permit requirements. Rather than treating every project the same way, we’ve built local familiarity across the region — find your city below to see what pool building looks like specifically where you live.

Why Homeowners Across the GTA Choose Land-Con Pools
Working across this many municipalities means navigating a different permit process in nearly every one of them. Toronto’s zoning and TRCA requirements for ravine-adjacent lots in Etobicoke and North York aren’t the same as York Region’s process for a new-build subdivision lot in Vaughan or Markham, and Peel Region’s requirements differ again. Rather than learning each system on a client’s project timeline, we’ve already built the local knowledge that keeps permit approval from becoming the slowest part of your build.
The same applies to soil and lot conditions. Clay-heavy soil common across much of the GTA behaves differently after heavy rain than the sandier pockets found in some Simcoe County properties near Barrie, and older post-war neighbourhoods across Toronto and York Region sometimes carry buried infrastructure that a newer subdivision lot won’t have. Our in-house crew handles the same project from consultation through final walkthrough, so this local knowledge carries through the whole build rather than getting lost between a design team and a separate installation subcontractor.
What We Build, Wherever You’re Located
- Concrete pool construction — fully custom shapes for larger properties
- Vinyl liner construction — a practical entry point for standard suburban lots
- Fiberglass pool installation — faster builds with lower long-term maintenance
- Pool and landscape design — integrating the pool into your full backyard
- Indoor pools — for year-round use where the property allows it
What Our Clients Say
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you serve areas outside the cities listed here?
In most cases, yes. The cities above represent where we build most often, but we regularly take on projects in neighbouring communities. Contact us with your address and we’ll confirm right away whether it falls within our service area.
Does the permit process differ between cities?
Yes, significantly. Each municipality has its own zoning bylaw and pool enclosure requirements, and some areas near ravines or protected valleys — common in parts of Etobicoke, North York, and Vaughan — require an additional Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) review. We manage this directly regardless of which city your project is in.
Do you charge more for projects farther from your office?
Travel distance can be a factor in your quote depending on the project location, but our core service area across the GTA is covered under our standard process. Ask during your consultation for specifics on your address.
Can I get the same pool type built regardless of my city?
Generally yes, though lot size, soil conditions, and local permit rules can make one pool type more practical than another in a given area. We’ll walk through this with you during your site consultation.
